Oh my gosh! How did I not know this place existed? I love German food, but most of the options I've tried in the Miami area have been disappointing. I guess I gave up looking for a good German place. But this October, i decided to try again and stumbled upon Wunderbar. So glad I did. From the excellent service to the delicious food, from the broad menu of German beers to the laid back atmosphere - everything was delightful. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Ordered pick up food and it was perfect! Then as things began to open up more, I decided to try and eat at the actual restaurant. They have a huge patio area with outdoor seating with lots of space which is perfect for COVID. Both times that I've gotten food from here, it was AMAZING. Service, ambiance, drinks, and food all 5 stars. This place was a last minute find before our movie date and it completely exceeded our expectations! The menu has a good selection and real German dishes. Their beer menu was obviously great with three different sizes; small, large and liter. We were enjoying ourselves so much we didn't have time for dessert, but that just gives us an excuse to come back...

I tried this bar for the first time last night and had such a wonderful experience! The pork schnitzel was absolutely delicious, especially with the brown mushroom gravy sauce, which I could just drink alone. The pretzel was also outrageous with the dipping sauces and I already want to go back this week to try the rest of the menu. I also want to mention that the waiter was beyond attentive, recommended delicious beers and took his time with helping me order as I am very indecisive....

Wunderbar is the perfect blend of neighborhood sports bar, German restaurant and beer garden all wrapped up into one cozy place. Great beer selection, and a cool menu with just enough German specialties to make it unique, without the gimmicky German restaurant shtick. The pretzel is the best I've had (the beer cheese could have been thicker), the wiener schnitzel was awesome and the bratwurst lunch special (on a crusty delicious roll with sauerkraut and a side for $7.49) was perfection...
